Pumpkin Carving

Each year my family and I get together at my Grandma's house to carve pumpkins. It's usually the Sunday before Halloween. This was the first year that we've had Alexis join in on the fun so I thought I would share this day with you! :)

We were over at my grandma's house the other day and my dad took Alexis outside to look at everyone through the window.

Well she didn't really get the concept of the window and tried to go through it to get me! It was so cute and this picture is so funny!

While on our lunch breaks Steph and I have done some silly and fun stuff.

We have attacked Alexis with teddy bears!

We took Alexis to the park.

And we dressed her up Green Bay Packers style!

(As a joke to daddy of course!)

The Last Straw

I quit my job today. It was a crazy situation that I no longer needed to be a part of. What didn't help was when I was leaving my former employer was telling me that I was lucky to have had the job I did and that I was lucky that I was paid as much as I was. FYI this lady had my sister call me every other day asking if I would work with her and she promised to pay me one wage when I was given the job and then gave me $0.70 less per hour later. I was no too happy if you can imagine. But her boss gave me a call later and offered me a better position with better pay at his other center. Woohoo! So it turned out well for me.
